Fashion forward

Okay, I know I am behind on all the Fashion Week fun but I wanted to share some cool things that happened.

First, let’s talk about Ralph Lauren’s Polo 4D. It’s another way a designer is changing up the typical catwalk and embracing technology. They tugged on MPC Creative to create some sweet projection mapping where the models appear to walk on water. It was the first ever 4D fashion show. I won’t get all technical on you, but you should watch this BTS on how it was made — pretty cool.

Next in line is the partnership between Lexus and Gareth Pugh. Lexus had a ‘Lexus Design Disrupted‘ show at MADE Fashion Week. It had large-scale film installations and live performances all with British designer Gareth Pugh’s 2015 collection. Now that is some great collaboration.
