Design and Art Direction (D&AD), formerly known as British Design & Art Direction) is a British educational charity which exists to promote excellence in design and advertising. Their logo includes the words “Benchmarking and rewarding great ideas that are well executed and appropriate”.

In other words, it’s a pretty cool honor to be recognized by this group. Designer Douglas Bowden designed the 2014 title sequence with a mish mash of random office supplies. It almost looks like something OKGO would pull off, and they have teams of people working on their ideas. Douglas did a top notch job of animating and executing this idea. Props!
